I just started putting the texture paint on my walls. I am going for the Old World Style walls ....reminiscent of the walls in an old French farmhouse or cottage to get the French Country Farmhouse look I am TRYING to accomplish. I am using Behr's Texture Paint in the Sand Finish and following the directions for the Traditional Stucco Knockdown. Interesting. See here for more info:

If you scroll all the way down, you'll see a photo of a finished wall.....yeah...that's what I want :) I plan to then paint it a nice light color...Navajo White, to be exact. We shall see. At the moment, there is texture paint flying everywhere....I've only completed a 4'x4' section and I am covered in paint. Hmmmmm..... Watch out, folks....you just never know how this thing's gonna end....stay tuned......
Did you notice our walls when you were here? My living room and hall have some type of texture to them. It was like that when we got here though so I can't take credit. I'm no designer so my house doesn't really have a flow. I can't wait to see your finished product!!!!
