A Little Planting...

Darren got the kids' garden boxes ready this weekend, and Momma helped 'em do the planting.  It's so funny watching them...we went to our local nursery Saturday, gave them a box, and told them they could pick out some plants. It's still a bit early to plant some things so they picked out lettuce, spinach, broccoli, and cauliflower.  Sarah, of course, had to get a couple of flowers. <3
It is just so cute listening to them talk ....they were asking each other, "what kind of lettuce did you get?"  and "i got two different kinds of broccoli...one you can harvest in 45 days, one in 80 days" and "i like spinach...did you get any spinach?"  How cute is that????
So, we came home and got to work..... man, I love planting ...  and their boxes look great!!  They are a bit concerned though...they want to make sure all these plants are harvested in time for tomato and cucumber planting....  :D
