and ....Chicks!

Okay, don't ask me why I felt I needed more farm animals.....maybe I just enjoy choring..... I mean, I LIVE for the feel of toting a five gallon water bucket sloshing water on my legs as I carry it UPHILL....I love to get the stress ball effect milking my goat EVERY day...rain, shine, sleet, snow, in sickness and in health.....and there's nothing like scooping poop out of a chicken coop to make a girl SWOON....literally....LOL....

We have chickens....California Whites and some Barred Rock banties...but, I have been desiring some black hens...that will lay me some brown eggs.  Actually, I'd really love to have some of those chickens that lay Easter eggs...the browns, greens....  Anyway, I digress (I just learned that word a few weeks ago....didn't tell the person who typed it, but I had to look it up...I don't like to admit things like that....LOL.....)  Anyway..... we went to the local feed store and bought four little Black Australorp chicks!  They are so cute...of course, I think *any* baby farm animal is cute <3

My next adventure will be finding some of those cool chickens with the long feathers and fluffy heads...I'll do some research and post some pics......  I love cool looking chickens  :D
